Merry Christmas!

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. This has been a different year, yes it definitely has!

Holidays in general can be tough on many people and I’m guessing this year may be harder.

Here are a few things that I have found helpful to focus on. They keep pulling me up if I have a low-

1. The Parent (grandparent)/child relationship. The amount of love felt for those little ones, our father in heaven has an innumerable amount more. 1 John 3 2. Acknowledgement of what we want to give to those little ones (whether it be a gift, a memory, or a tradition) our Father is the ultimate gift giver . Matthew 7:7-14. (previous answered prayer has an amazing ability of instilling hope for the future) 3. This is not our battle and this is not our home, it’s just never been as obvious as now. Phil 3:20 4. Belief that we’re in good hands...He’s handled worse than what’s going on now. Mark 4:41 This may be a bit of a heavier Christmas post… But for me I have found that if I focus on the Light, the darkness isn’t as dark. Merry Christmas from me and my family to yours.
